Anna is a true Italian: born and raised in Vicenza, Veneto.
She graduated in Italian Literature and Philology (Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees) at Ca’ Foscari University in Venice. Since 2014, she has been living in the Netherlands, but she keeps going back and forth to her beloved and beautiful country.
Anna started teaching when she was in High School: she gave private lessons to kids and teenagers who needed help studying Italian, history, and history of art.
Since 2015, she has been teaching the Italian language and culture to not-Italian-mother-tongue-speakers: currently, her students are Dutchmen/women, Spaniards, Belgians, Croats, and Americans; the youngest one is 22 years old and the oldest is 85!
Anna keeps herself constantly updated with new teaching techniques and the latest learning methods: a never-ending process to be able to always offer the best teaching technique for everybody’s single needs.
The latest courses she has followed are:
– «Che genere di storia?/Which gender of history?», Istituto Nazionale Ferruccio Pari, Udine;
– «Educare all’ascolto/Educate the listening», Italian Dyslexia Association, Bologna;
– «Genders studies, globalization, and democracy», (post-laurea diploma) University of Florence;
– «Creating tools for Italian L2 and LS», WikiScuola, Milano;
– «Video making for the flipped classroom», WikiScuola, Milano.
